Founder Trustee of OSPREY and Treasurer since 2002

Employed as a Medical Physicist in Hull and East Yorkshire for 43 years retiring in 2003 when Head of the Medical Physics Service. Specialist responsibility within Medical Physics was for Nuclear Medicine a service almost totally developed during the period of office.

Became involved with Bone Densitometry when the service was introduced in Hull Hospitals following the appointment of Professor David Purdy.

Initiated the development of the Centre for Metabolic Disease, and when time permitted, participated in a number of research projects.
